 Building a Better Life!

Hi! My name is Rosalie Ferris and felt compelled to share my story.  I am in my mid fifties and have felt the need to find a product or supplement that would help me with the inevitable aging symptoms such as lack of energy, and the everyday aches and pains.  I began a religious regimen of Chaga 6 to 8 months ago and my degree of well-being has gradually increased over the past few months in a subtle but delightful way.  My energy level and my overall health have become increasingly even and sound.

In the meantime, I've lost 17 pounds, gained more fitness and strength than I've had ever in my adult life and have dialed up my spirit of adventure.

I am writing to report that I somehow ran out of Chaga about 10 days ago and was too busy care-taking aging parents to track my ship date or to order additional bottles to have on hand.  I felt a change of psyche about a week ago and by now have sensed a fair amount of deterioration in my health and well-being.  I have needed a nap in the afternoon and am relying on chocolate to pump me up psychologically and energetically - not a Chaga replacement by any means.

I am in awe of this life force laden product and how it has enhanced my life.  I have learned the hard way the value of the autoship process that Chaga International offers and I will be sure never to run short again!  I just feel too darn good when it is in my system to ever do without.

Sincerely yours,

Rosalie

Binary Placement

Placing new Members in the Binary tree is very important to effectively building your business.  Strategic placement is what builds momentum - what we call power legs and is what creates consistent Cycling Binary Cycle Commissions and Matching Bonuses.

Placement in the Binary is the first part of the enrollment process. A new Member must either let the default place him or her in the Binary structure, or follow instructions from his /her sponsor for specific strategic placement. Policy Reminder –
One Membership
Per Household.

Chaga Policy is to only allow one Membership per household.  This policy is in place to ensure that all of our Members benefit from our Longevity Compensation Plan as much as possible.

Think about it for a moment - Our Compensation Program is based on achievement of certain qualifications.  If you are trying to help two Memberships qualify and build productive teams, you are essentially diluting your efforts rather than focusing your efforts, and are far more likely to achieve as much as you can by focusing on building one Chaga Membership.   A husband and wife for example, should work just one Chaga Membership as a TEAM and maximize their results.

One Member or a husband and wife having two Chaga Memberships is not allowed.

Question of the Month

Order Processing

There are several important reminders regarding order processing:

Should for any reason your form of payment is declined either during an attempt to place an order, or during monthly autoship processing, be aware that it is your credit card company declining the transaction, not Chaga International.

Our system, through our merchant services, reaches out to your credit card company to gain approval for the transaction.  A message stating that the transaction has been declined indicates that your credit card company would not approve the charge.  This could be for a wide variety of reasons, including an expired credit card.

To rectify the problem, you should simply contact your credit card company.  Should the transaction be declined due credit card on file expiring, you can simply update this information in your Chaga Back Office.

Anytime you receive a new credit card please be sure to replace or update the information in your Chaga Back Office so that you don’t miss any order shipments or become ineligible  for any commissions by being inactive in our system.

Organizing Your Business

and Much More!

They have established a youth group at the Church and have found that this is their mission.  Their town, Upland, which is only has a population of 160 people, has had a high rate of vandalism.  Since starting the youth group the vandalism has stopped.  The children are from low income families and many have just one parent.

“Our drive is for helping people so it just makes sense that we would become part of Chaga International to help people improve their health, and to provide the financial opportunity that the Chaga marketing opportunity offers people.”

Pat & Ivan became part of Chaga International one year ago this June.  They have both improved their health by taking Chaga.  Pat and Ivan were the first Chaga Members in Nebraska.

“Ivan just recently had his yearly physical and all the areas tested have improved.  He doesn't take any medications and still doesn't need to - even if his Doctor continually tries to offer him prescriptions for everything that other men are taking at his age - he simply doesn't need them. He has had white hair for many, many years and now some of it is turning black.  I recently hurt my knee in January and had surgery which has created several other complications.  I don't take medication so Chaga was what I used for pain after the surgery and it helped tremendously to get through all of that."

"Before taking Chaga, I got headaches quite frequently - since taking Chaga they have almost stopped.  If I get one now, I just take a couple extra drops of Chaga and they go away.  In the past year Chaga has just become part of our lives - everyplace we travel it goes with us”, says Pat.
“It’s been an exciting time watching our team grow and to see all the changes that little bottle of Chaga has done for all of our team."

"We were fortunate to qualify for being able to attend the Leadership Workshop in September in Las Vegas, so we had the honor of meeting Steve Gould and Michael Tidd and got to see firsthand how sincere and loving these Founders are about Chaga International.  We also got to meet many other leaders in the company and have maintained many of those friendships.  It was great to be with so many people with the same vision that they all had about Chaga International.”

“The way this company is designed is to help you build residual income - we really got to see how that worked when I had my surgery.  I was going to doctors at least three times a week and had to travel quite a ways to get there.  After the initial doctor visits - I had to go to therapy at least three times a week and spend much of my time exercising trying to get as much use of my leg back as possible.  During that time - which has been over 4 months - we weren't able to pay much attention to our Chaga business, yet we got a check every Monday!  Our income from Chaga during that time really helped to get us through all of the expenses we were incurring”, says Pat.

“We appreciate the support that Chaga International has provided for us.  Steve Gould has set up a very duplicatable system and is constantly improving it - making this business a very simple turn-key process.  We have also been honored to have Rich Gould, Chaga International's Success Coach, fly here to Nebraska from Florida four times this last year to help us with building this business.  Rich has not only become a very good friend - but he is helping us develop our team leaders so we can share this with many more people.  He has always been there for us.”

“The best part of this year has been being able to help people with a wonderful product and creating our New Chaga Family.  We will be friends forever - it's great to be with such a positive Company that helps us to improve our health and it’s exciting to know that this company is going to be our future."

You Set the Pace for Your Team

It is important for Chaga Members to ask themselves what they want from our business opportunity and what they are willing to do to get it.  We recognize and respect that Members have all different levels of time, ability and all have different goals.  For those looking for real financial rewards, it is important to examine how they approach and treat the business opportunity.

At our Leadership Workshops we cover many aspects of our business.  One of the areas we cover is having the attendees ask themselves, "am I treating this as a hobby or as a business".  When most people are asked this question, they begin to understand how perhaps they are treating the business one way and expecting the results of another way.  Because of the nature and freedom of this business, it is easy for people to treat the business opportunity casually as a hobby yet, expect business results.

It is also important for those looking for business results to realize that if we treat the business like a hobby then that is likely what will be duplicated within our Team.

It is also critically important to understand that you set the pace for your Team.  So if you treat the business casually, do not participate in company activities, are easily distracted, are not consistent or reliable, and set an example of treating your business as a hobby, your Team will likely duplicate that effort and attitude.

The opposite is also true.  If you set the example and the pace for effort and attitude with enthusiasm and focus, Members of your Team will follow your lead. That is how they will "see" the business.

So when looking at your Uni-level Team and their activity, if it is not at the level at which you would like to see it, then you need to look at yourself.  Are you setting the right example by doing what you would like to see the Members of your Team doing?  Have you learned to effectively use the tools: the Power of 3-way Calls - The Fast Start Guide to Success?  The live and archived Conference Calls?  Have you learned the power of teaching and showing new Members to use the tools for success?  Are you consistent in your efforts and your message?  You set the pace for your team - so where do you rank your involvement, your attitude and your enthusiasm?

Setting the pace for your team does not necessarily mean dedicating significantly more time.  It means being consistent in your efforts, attitude and enthusiasm, and setting a good example along the way.  It means effectively using the system to maximize your results.

The possibilities with the Chaga Longevity Compensation Plan provide the opportunity for you and every Member of your Team to benefit in ways that will change lives.  That is something to take seriously.

By participating in the Chaga Mission you have opened the door to limitless possibilities - limitless potential.  What we have created is a goldmine.  You can take as much of the rewards as you like - you just have to put in the time and energy.

Healthy Living -
Artificial Sweeteners and Your Health

With so much information on the potential negative effects on our health by using artificial sweeteners, it is a wonder why so many people still consume these man-made substances.  Products like Aspartame are in many diet drinks and Splenda is the newest sugar substitute.

Aspartame, the main ingredient in Equal and NutraSweet, is one of the most controversial non-nutritive sweeteners.  There are numerous Websites, books, and articles stating various reasons why Aspartame should not be consumed.   Aspartame should be avoided by most women, but particularly in those with neuropsychiatric concerns.  Recent studies in Europe show that Aspartame use can result in an accumulation of formaldehyde in the brain, which can damage your central nervous system and immune system, and cause genetic trauma.

The FDA admits this is true, but claims the amount consumed may be low enough that it shouldn’t raise concern, yet Aspartame has had the most complaints of any food additive available to the public.  It’s been linked to MS, lupus, fibromyalgia, and other central nervous disorders.  Possible other side effects of aspartame include headaches, migraines, panic attacks, dizziness, irritability, nausea, intestinal discomfort, skin rash, and nervousness.  Some researchers have linked aspartame with depression and manic episodes. It may also contribute to male infertility.  The concerns are many.

Conflicts of interest in the studies performed on Aspartame and the way in which its approval from the FDA was obtained is an ongoing controversy.  The studies on which the FDA permitted Aspartame to reach the market are embroiled in industry-related conspiracies.

Almost all of the independent research into Aspartame found dangerous side effects in rodents.  The FDA chose not to take these findings into account when it approved Aspartame for public use.  Over the course of 15 years, those same side effects increasingly appeared in humans who were vulnerable to the chemical structure of aspartame.

Due to the well-known concerns of consuming Aspartame, many of the new diet foods and beverages that come onto the marketplace will use Splenda as a sugar substitute.  Few of us are really aware of how many new Splenda products there are in the supermarkets.  We’ve been told that this artificial sweetener is different from all the past failures — Sweet’N Low®, NutraSweet®, etc. — and according to the claims, that this Splenda is the perfect sugar substitute (as sweet as sugar, but no calories).

Products featuring Splenda are promoted and perceived as “natural” because even the FDA’s press release about sucralose parrots the claim that “it is made from sugar” — an assertion disputed by the Sugar Association, which is suing Splenda’s manufacturer, McNeil Nutritionals.

The FDA has no definition for “natural,” so the term is used in many misrepresentations relating to products we use every day.  Splenda is the trade name for sucralose, a synthetic compound stumbled upon in 1976 by scientists in Britain seeking a new pesticide formulation.  It is true that the Splenda molecule is comprised of sucrose (sugar) — except that three of the hydroxyl groups in the molecule have been replaced by three chlorine atoms.

There are numerous responsible experts that say that Splenda is unsafe.  Clearly, Splenda is the latest in a succession of artificial sweeteners that claim at first to be healthy, only later to be proven to be full of side effects.  These same authorities say that Splenda has more in common with DDT (a pesticide) than with food.

The manufacturer’s own short-term studies showed that very high doses of sucralose (far beyond what would be expected in an ordinary diet) caused shrunken thymus glands, enlarged livers, and kidney disorders in rodents.  A more recent study also shows that Splenda significantly decreases beneficial gut flora.

In the eleven years after Splenda was put on the market, no independent studies of sucralose lasting more than six months have been done in humans.  Further, none of the trials that were conducted were very large — the largest was only 128 people studied for three months, making us wonder, what happens when you’ve used sucralose for a year, or two, or ten?  Then there’s the fact that Splenda, as a product, consists of more than just sucralose—it’s made with dextrose, and sometimes also with maltodextrin, neither of which were included in the original studies and trials of sucralose.  So the reality is that we are the guinea pigs for Splenda while the FDA turns a blind eye.

Self-reported adverse reactions to Splenda or sucralose collected by the Sucralose Toxicity Information Center include skin rashes/flushing, panic-like agitation, dizziness and numbness, diarrhea, swelling, muscle aches, headaches, intestinal cramping, bladder issues, and stomach pain.

With all the new Splenda products on our shelves, it looks as if we are now in the process of another grand public experiment — without our permission.  And we may not know the health implications for decades.

Be concerned about the potential dangers of Splenda, as with any unnatural substance you put in your body.  Be especially concerned about its use for children.  Thanks to an agreement between McNeil Nutritionals (makers of Splenda) and PTO Today, which provides marketing and fund-raising aid to parents’ associations, your elementary school’s next bake sale may be sponsored by Splenda — complete with baked goods made with the product.  Are our children the next trial group?

Then there's high fructose corn syrup which is also a manmade sweetener found in many drinks and foods, and it is not the best answer either.  Our body's metabolism reacts differently to high fructose corn syrup than sugar and after high fructose corn syrup began to be widely introduced into the food supply 30-odd years ago, obesity and Diabetes rates have skyrocketed.  Many blame high fructose corn syrup for playing a major role in our national obesity epidemic.

Those of us that are health conscious can easily avoid the risks of Aspartame and Splenda but high fructose corn syrup is harder to avoid.  The key is to consume it in moderation.  Our kids in particular are bombarded with high fructose corn syrup, as it is in so many juices, soft drinks and snack foods.  Many contribute this to the epidemic levels of childhood diabetes and child obesity.

With a little effort you can find fruit juices that are natural with no sugar added.  Brands like Juicy Juice do not contain high fructose corn syrup or any added sugars.

Thankfully some other major drink brands such as Snapple and Sobe, see the growing negative documentation and potential health concerns of artificial sweeteners, and are beginning to change over to natural sweeteners, like natural cane sugar.

More companies need to be responsible and look at consumer safety and well being rather than just profits.

Use natural sugar and always in moderation.  Use raw sugar when a sweetener is needed.  If you are going to use a substitite, honey is a good alternative, as well as Stevia - an herbal sugar alternative.

Be naturally sweet and your body will thank you!

Passion - An Essential Ingredient for Success!

Many of the greatest people that ever lived, who changed the world and those who became notable leaders did so with a passionate belief in themselves and in their cause.  People who changed the world like Albert Einstein and Bill Gates, were driven with passion to moving human civilization forward.

People who have been very successful or achieved great things, will all tell you that they are passionate about what they do.  That is the key.  People who excel and reach their goals all have one thing in common - PASSION!  From musicians and artists to inventors and athletes, to people just like you who become the best they can be - have the common thread of passion.

Being passionate about something meaningful is how we inspire ourselves to push beyond our self-imposed limitations and to take ACTION!  It is how we break barriers and become capable of things we never thought possible.  From musicians and artists to inventors and athletes, to people just like you who become the best they can be - have the common thread of passion.

In our industry, I have seen people accomplish amazing things because they are passionate about making a difference in peoples lives.  They were passionate about being part of a business opportunity that gave them the path to personal and financial success.  They were passionate about being a part of something bigger than themselves.

I've seen a pre-school teacher, a diving instructor, and a bartender all rise to millionaire status with a lifestyle that only top celebrities can rival - something this industry offers us all.  They were people just like you and they were all passionate about reaching their life's goals.

Passion is also how we inspire others.  It is even how we attract others and attract the things we want in our lives.

This applies to you in your personal and professional life.  Particularly in networking and building a sales team, your passion is essential for success.  It shows people that you are a person committed, one who believes in what they do, and one who gets fulfillment from impacting lives in a positive way.

Passion allows people to FEEL your conviction.  Passion is also contagious and passion makes the people you interact with make note of your positive energy.  Your positive energy will make people feel good and open doors for you in business as well as on your journey through life.  Being passionate in what we do helps to give us a sense of meaning and fulfillment.  Passion is essential to building a life of abundance.  The real thing we all strive for in life is happiness, and happiness starts with bringing passion into your life!

Passion means being involved.  Passion is energy.  Passion moves fear to action.  Passion energizes your business and your life.  Bring Passion into your life and you will see amazing things happen all around you!

Live Abundantly,

Steve Gould
